Biography

I am a Lecturer in Finance and the Course Leader for the MSc Finance and Management and the MSc Investment and Financial Management at NBS. I am also a CFA® charterholder and an External Examiner at the University of Westminster.

I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Wuhan University, an MSc in Finance from Durham University, and a PhD in Finance from Cass Business School, City University London.

My research interests focus on asset pricing and corporate finance. For asset pricing, which I have been working on since my PhD time, I particularly interested in two market microstructure factors: information asymmetry and liquidity. I have also extended my research scope to corporate finance such as Mergers and Acquisitions.

I am a regular member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society United Kingdom. I am also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom.
