Biography
Sandra Winterburn joined Norwich Medical School (NMS) in 2012, and is a Senior Lecturer in the Medical Education department. She is the academic lead for the consultation skills curriculum at NMS and for faculty continuous-professional-development (CPD) in this subject area.
Sandra has a background in palliative care and has considerable experience of teaching communication skills to a wide range of professional groups at both under and post-graduate level.

An inaugural member of the DH team that designed and delivered the National Advanced Communication Skills Training Programme
Co-author of a European inter-professional core communication curriculum for undergraduate training.
