Biography

After graduating in French literature, I started my career in France in business training and management. Following a family move to England in 2005, I took the opportunity to do what I always wanted to do and I trained as a MFL teacher at the University of Reading.
I taught French, German and Spanish at KS3, KS4 and KS5 for more than 10 years and I am very passionate about the benefits of learning a language for all children, as it can (and should always be) an enjoyable and creative subject that anyone can access.
I joined the Secondary PGCE team as a tutor in August 2018 to deliver the Professional studies programme and to lead the teaching of MFL. Through my university teaching and then through teaching practice supervision in our partnership schools, I aim to support our students to develop their teaching skills so they can inspire the next generation of life-long learners.
