Prior to working in Norwich, I was a Clinical Lecturer at University College London and an inner city GP. I qualified From University Colege London in 1991 and trained in General Practice in London. After beconing a GP I took advantage of an Academic Training Scheme to develop my interest in undegraduate medical education. I obtained a Masters Degree in Medical Education from Dundee University by distance learning supported by a study group.

I moved to Norwich in 2007 with my husband and family. I became a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Tutor. I developed an academic interest in PBL and undertook an Educational Doctorate. I was the Academic lead for PBL from 2013 to 2018.  I have just stepped down from this role.
