Academic Background

Meghan is a Senior Research Associate within the School of Politics at the University of East Anglia. As an interdisciplinary Human Geographer, Meghan's research focuses on natural hazards and climate change adaptation, examining matters of governance and corresponding implications for human well-being and societal resilience. Her current research investigates the driving forces and self-reinforcing mechanisms through which policy ‘lock-ins’ are created and sustained in key sectors (including water, health and nature conservation), considering the implications of this for mainstreaming climate change adaptation in the UK, Germany and The Netherlands.
