I received my PhD in 2010 with a thesis on the measurement of poverty, inequality and relative deprivation. With a background in Economics and Political Science, I carry out both theoretical and empirical research in the areas of Welfare, Development, Philosophical and Public Economics. I enjoy engaging in cross-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research and primary data collection. I have a regional expertise on Latin America and the Caribbean and Southern Africa.
