Academic Background

Prior to beginning my doctoral research, I studied at the University of Cambridge (BA History of Art, 2011–2014) and the Courtauld Institute of Art (MA History of Art, 2014–2015). My Masters dissertation exploring the patronage of the early nineteenth-century financier Alexander Davison was awarded The Berger Foundation Prize 2015 for the Best Dissertation on British Art in any period.
