Biography

Jeremy Noel-Tod grew up in Norfolk and has lived in Norwich since 2000. His research interests are in modernist literature and contemporary poetry. He has reviewed poetry for the Guardian, the New Statesman, the London Review of Books, the Times Literary Supplement, and the Daily Telegraph, and is currently the regular poetry critic for The Sunday Times. He was the revising editor of the Oxford Companion to Modern Poetry, previously published as the Oxford Companion to Twentieth Century Poetry (1994), ed. Ian Hamilton. 

Career

Jeremy Noel-Tod came to UEA in September 2009. He studied at New College, Oxford and went on to teach at Oxford, Cambridge and UEA. He was Director of Studies at Selwyn College, Cambridge from 2007 to 2008, and completed a PhD on T.S. Eliot at Trinity College, Cambridge in the same year. From 2008 to 2009 he lectured at Queen Mary, University of London.
