  • Infohackit workshop for a multidisciplinary science-media-community network on 'Understanding and communicating relative risk' (Nottingham)
  • Development of infographic to communicate historical trajectories of hazard risk for a policy workshop on disaster risk management (Cancun)
  • Policy, business and industry workshops on future coastal scenarios, ecosystem services, and Blue Growth for MKEN (Norfolk)
  • British Science Festival events - Scientific advisor for science comic for children (Newcastle 2013); and two public lectures on gardening and climate change (Surrey 2008)
  • FORCE project (Barbados, Honduras, St Kitts and Nevis, and Belize); designed and delivered local and national level consultations on reef management. Media (TV and radio) in each country.


  • Designed communications strategy for 28 EU country network (INOGOV), including website, policy briefs and newsletter
