Academic Background

In 2016, Hannah began her PhD at the UEA under the supervision of Prof. David Wright to design, implement and evaluate a ward placement for hospital pre-registration pharmacists. The ward placement developed as part of her PhD has since been adopted at hospitals across England. Hannah is currently seeking to recruit more hospitals to adopt the ward placement, if this is something you might be interested in, please get in touch with Hannah.

As a part of her PhD, Hannah has also developed a series of bespoke Workplace Assessment Tools for pre-registration pharmacists which are freely available for pre-registration pharmacists and their tutors to use. For more information and to view and/or use these workplace assessment tools, please see the 'Activities' tab.

In 2019, Hannah was appointed as a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice whose primary role is to support the teaching and research activities of the East of England pre-registration pharmacist training programme.

Hannah is part of the Pharmacy Education Research group at the UEA and continues to practise as a pharmacist.  Her research interests include design-based research, longitudinal qualitative research and pharmacy education. Hannah is keen to develop further research collaborations, please feel free to get in touch with her if this is something you would like to discuss.
