I have been a Registered Nurse for 25 years working in General Surgery and Intensive Care in the UK, Canada and the USA. As a Flight Lieutenant in the Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service, I served in Sierra Leone, Western Africa, as an Aeromedical Evacuation Liaison Officer worldwide, and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth and the RCDM, University of Central England. I have worked a nurse lecturer for 20 years undertaking various roles in including the Director of Admissions and continue to teach and engage in critical care nursing.
