Biography

Chris joined the Health Economics Group in the Norwich Medical School in January 2015 from Canada, where he was working as a health economist with a cancer clinical trials unit.  He has a PhD in Health Economics & Decision Science from The University of Sheffield, and a Masters Degree in Development Economics from Dalhousie University, Canada.

His research interests are around the use of heath economics to maximize the value of limited healthcare resources. This includes consideration of economic efficiency as well as the broader concept of societal value. In considering these different conceptions of value he uses tools such as economic modeling and stated preference elicitation.
