Dr Emma Ward a Research Fellow in Norwich Medical School, and is an Associate Tutor teaching on the SSF MRes programme. Dr Ward is an experienced mixed methods researcher and is passionate about improving outcomes for people through research. In 2016 she become a member of the UEA Addiction Research group working on studies focusing on smoking cessation. Dr Ward has a background in social work research and researching young people and vulnerable groups, drawing on experience contracted on various research projects within the UEA Centre for Research on Children and Families between 2006 and 2017.  Emma graduated in 2009 with a Social Science PhD from UEA and she was previously an undergraduate student on the UEA BSc Psychosocial Sciences programme.
