Dr. Esther Priyadharshini works as a senior lecturer at the School of Education & Lifelong Learning.  She is a member of the Critical Cultural Studies in Education research group. Esther’s research interest in youth, schooling, futures and gender is influenced by her interest in the critical and questioning perspectives of post-humanism, feminism and post-colonialism. Her methodological interest is to bring inventive, speculative and participatory perspectives to data gathering and analysis of educational interactions. Esther teaches and supervises across several programmes in education - BA, MRes, PhD and EdD. Esther completed her Ph.D from Lancaster University. Previously, she had worked as a market research executive with Gallup, India, with an interest in qualitative and quantitative research in business and social settings.
