Biography

Emilian I. Parau is a Professor of Applied Mathematics. He obtained his BSc in Mathematics in 1995 from the West University of Timisoara, Romania. He received his PhD in Mathematics in 2000 from University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and  West University of Timisoara. His research focuses on nonlinear water waves, interfacial waves, hydroelastic waves and other free surface flows. Emilian Parau is interested in solving nonlinear partial differential equation arising in fluid mechanics and free boundary problems using computational, asymptotic and dynamical systems methods.
