Academic Background

Diarmaid Clery is a Senior Research Associate at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change research in the School of Environmental Sciences. He joined the FAB-GGR team at UEA to work on a stakeholder workshop and policy briefing note outputs. 

Diarmaid is completing his PhD in chemistry and engineering at the University of Leeds where he worked on the impact of biomass combustion on amine sorbents in BECCS power plants. He did this as part of the Bioenergy CDT at Leeds. He also completed a policy internship with the Government Office for Science in 2018.
