Biography

I am a social anthropologist with 10 years experience in development studies research, consultancy and programme management. As Senior Research Associate and Principal Investigator (PI) I lead independent postdoctoral research supported by the DFID-funded consortium Leveraging Agriculture for Nutrition in South Asia (study titled: ‘Implementation of the ICDS in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh: A systemic examination'). I have country expertise in India, and have carried out research in rural Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, as well in the cities of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Madurai. I have experience in teaching and curriculum development.
