Career

Coralie is an Associate Professor in Nursing Studies in the school of Health Sciences at UEA.

She previously worked in the NHS for 25 years, initially as a Health Care Assistant before commencing Nurse training. She is a registered nurse, and had completed post registration qualifications in Midwifery and a BSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (School Nurse). Coralie also has an MSc in Clinical Research (NIHR), and in 2018 she began an Educational Doctorate programme at UEA. 

For the majority of her clinical career she has worked in the community as a NHS School Nurse, working with mainstream education, social care and health colleagues to support children, young people and their families.

In 2014 she began working at UEA as a Lecturer in Nursing Sciences, and in 2017 Coralie became the Course Director of the full time BSc Adult Nursing programme.  Coralie has co-authored a text book which was published in 2020. The book is tailored to support student nurses during their pre-registration nurse education, and is entitled 'Health Promotion for Nursing Students'.

She currently the Professional Lead for Pre-registration Nursing in the School of Health Sciences at UEA.
